A day in the life of a points addict...

Tuesdays are the worst days...but they don't have to be.  You can always make them better by pinteresting "Things to Make Tuesday Better."  I'll take "have an office wide arm wrestling contest" today.

I thought it might be fun today to breakdown how I manage/budget my daily food stuff.  Let's face it, I LOVE FOOD.  Food, however, is like a boy in a Taylor Swift song.  I just replace "you" with "food" and sing in my car, alone...well, unless Tyagan is in the car.  He doesn't count as an embarrassment obstacle; now he is just an unwilling and captive audience (because the car is moving and the doors are locked).

Any who...this is what I ate today:

Morning - 5 p (after hitting the snooze button 3x-don't worry it's just playing "22" from Tay Tay's last album.  Believe me, Tyagan loves waking up to it-mwhahahahah).
1 piece TJs Multigrain Bread -2 p
2 Tbsp. PB2 (PB Powder mixed with 1 Tbsp water and smeared on bread) -1 p
Apple Slices (lay on top of PB2 and Bread)- 0 p
2 Tbsp. Creamer (Girl Scout Caramel & Coconut) - 2 p
-For the record, I stock up on this creamer like the zombie apocalypse has commenced.  Worth every point.

Mid-Morning Snack - 2 p (don't judge-I feel like Mindy: "You know I have to eat every two hours.")

1/2 c. FF TJ Cottage Cheese- 2 p
1 cup raspberries (or the entire container-who's counting fruit)- 0 p

Lunch- 7 p
Overnight Oats (total 7 p)
1/2 c TJ Old Fashioned Oats- 4 p
1 c Almond Milk-1 p
1 scoop Big Train Fit Frappe Mocha- 2 p

Afternoon Snack 4 p (don't judge me-I went to spin class and was hungry)
Grapes - 0 p
Cheese Slices - 4 p

Dinner 7 p
Pizza - yum! (total 7 p)
FlatOut Pizza Crust (I get them at Target) - 3 p
1/4 c. tomato sauce - 0 p
1 oz TJ lite Mozzarella - 1 p
3 oz. chicken breast (I added 1 Tbsp of Frank's Buffalo Sauce)- 3 p
Small Spinach Salad with Strawberries - 0 p

Dessert 1 p: after dinner decaf coffee with 1 Tbsp creamer (1 p)

Points total 26

So there you go, a day in the life of a points addict.  I'll keep ya posted with some typical days, and give you the skinny on all the things!

Alright, okay, I am officially the worst...it's been too terribly long...but please let me explain...so much has happened, and I'm sorry...I really, really am...but allow me to express my deepest regrets...

First of all...I got commissioned (very fancy Methodist talk), so now I am officially a Reverend! Oh YEA! That happened in June but leading up to that moment, there were lots of papers, preparation, interviewing, and 19 years worth of school (NBD!), but it ultimately culminated in a beautiful service of blessing in Virginia.  What does it mean to be commissioned? Well that's a long, long story, which I'd love to tell you, but this blog is strictly for updates, so maybe next time (to calm your anxiety and anticipation here's a fun link to learn more: http://www.gbhem.org/clergy/provisional-membership).  Don't worry, I'm wearing a child's robe in that picture (I saved money and the cost of alterations!).   I promise I will definitely write more about "being a pastor" sometime soon!

In a September, I celebrated 10 years of being on a journey toward healthier living!  It's been hard and awesome! but mostly hard (just kidding...not really) Cue celebratory music!

Oh, I almost forgot...I got MURRIED (sp?!)...and we went on to Ireland on our honeymoon (my favorite place!!!! with my favorite person!!!!)

That was all in October, and the subsequent holidays flew by with a sea of red sweaters and delicious treats...did someone say treats? where?

Life has been crazy, and I am so grateful for the reprieve that this season of winter turning to Spring will bring.  I am hoping that slowing down will bring some more free time for doing things that are fun-like writing and blogging and sharing all of the quirky, fun things that come along with all of these new adventures.  I look forward to catching up even more, but for now, I have to go--you see there is the fourth Forensic Files marathon of the week, and I just cannot miss watching this episode for the 7th time.  I mean what if the science changes this week! plus I heard it might snow (like a lot), so I need to focus my energy on making sure that happens.  You know the good kind of snow; the kind that enables you to make snow cream and snowballs to throw at your husband.

Love you a latte!
