Well, well, well....look what we have here...I know what you are thinking, "where has she been?" "was she eaten by sharks?" "did she lose the internet?"

1. I would never be eaten by sharks because oceans are for people who get claustrophobic in the bathtub, and I am not one of those people.
2. Of course I didn't lose the internet. I have Al Gore on speed dial.
3.  For a few days, I was busy playing the gender altered role of Philip in my church's reenactment of the last summer..."uhh, yea...welcome to my postmodern existence."

SO WHAT HAVE I BEEN DOING????

I have been crazytown, USA.  I switched jobs in December and before that I was running around the country happily sporting my a blue devil pashmina, pretending to work for Coach K.

Now-I have an office, a window, and health insurance (woot woot).  I also have student loans to pay (opposite of woot woot).

So as I have adjusted to my new worky lifey-I have been a little preoccupied and a little ashamed that I haven't been able to share all of my woes and triumphs with regard to healthy eating because I HAVE BEEN TOO EMBARRASSED...I have been up/down, up/down trying to balance my work, church, comedy, and MY NEW DOGGY :) to be keeping up all of the healthy life choices I have committed myself to for the past several years...

BUT...I'm back...not back from failing again, but back to trying and failing and succeeding and trying some more.

So...I am committed to keeping up this blog for the next several months.  I have a big cruise coming up in July with the lil sistas and the rents, and I want to make sure I don't look at those pictures and regret the lazyness that pervaded me from hitting my goal before then.  For the next four months, I am going to be diligent about reminding myself that I don't need to rewatch the Mindy Project, episode 18 for the sixth time (but seriously get on that show like white on rice...she is my heartthrob).  I shall only watch it five times...and a sixth time if a certain someone (cough, M-dawg) suggests it.

I am back on the bandwagon, and what a perfect time to recommit myself--the weather is beautiful (no excuse not to walk Sidney Australia Robins), the farmer's markets are reopening to full stat, and LOTS OF YUMMY FRUIT IS GETTING RIPE!

But before I continue sharing some food finds with you...I will say what you are all thinking, "that ending to Downton Abbey, Season Three was an abomination-unnecessary and unforeseen...next season better include zombies and hallucinations because that is all that could redeem you now.  Okay, I am finished.

So here are some of my recent fun food finds (non-english majors that's called alliteration, "blamo") that I have been integrating into my healthy life plan like a boss...

1.  Skinny Cow Salted Caramel Pretzel Ice Cream Bars (soooo good, 4 ww points)
2.  TJ's Kalamata Olive Hummus (just give me a spoon-I need nothing else to consume this...1 TBSP=1 point)
3.  Trader Joe's Reduced Guilt Guacamole (2 Tablespoons=1 POINT...super find!)
4.  Confession: anyone who knows me knows that I am obsessed! with birthday cake flavored things, so when I discovered the new "Celebration Cake" bars at my local WW...I was hooked.  These things are amazing!!! 2 points per bar and worth every sprinkle :)

I have committed myself to walking Sidney at least an hour a day, and then I am planning to get a few lunch/gym sessions in...I'll let you know how goes it.

PS...I am addicted to artichokes on pizza right now...so, yea, look for that recipe to come.
